Auditions for the upcoming 2010-2011 season are:

• New members: September 9, 4-6pm
• Returning members: September 11, 10am-12pm
  

To audition for the Youth Orchestra, please contact Sheri Kelly at 360-341-3130. The musician must be prepared to:

• Play a 2-octave scale of the musician's choice
• Play a 2 to 3 minute solo piece (without accompanist)
• Sight read a selection chosen by the audition committee

Audition Fee: There is a non-refundable audition fee of $20 payable at the time of audition.

Season Tuition Fees: The fee for the 2010-2011 season is $300 per member ($100 a concert period). Tuition is due prior to, or at the first rehearsal of the season. Musicians paying for the entire season prior to, or at the first rehearsal of the season, will receive a 5% discount.

There is no audition required for the Community Orchestra. A $50 tuition fee per quarter is payable by the first rehearsal.

No one is excluded from participating in the Whidbey Island Orchestras because of inability to pay.
