The Whidbey Island Orchestra was formed in 2007 to provide quality musical experiences
for young and adult musicians of Whidbey Island and for our community.

Welcome to the "Burton's Halloween Fantasy" Video Page

Please Donate to the Orchestra

We are a 501(c)(3) organization; contributions are tax-deductible.

From the start, Whidbey Island Orchestra has relied on community support. Our income comes from fees the adult musicians pay to participate, concert fees and, especially, community donations.

We are delighted that starting with our 2022 Christmas season concerts, we will be rejoined by our brass and woodwind players to once again form a full orchestra! For the current concert, however, we have remained a string orchestra plus flutes, piano, and percussion.

Guest Conductor Gabriela Garza, an Island favorite, has chosen selections from Danny Elfman's extensive compositions for Tim Burton movies, as well as several Halloween favorites. We again welcome the "Luigi" Jazz Dancers choreographed by Daunne Zinger, and vocal talents Jeff Belfiglio and Gary Hattal, as Executive Director/Music Director Cynthia Morrow and the Whidbey Island Orchestra present "Burton's Hallowe'en Fantasy" for your enjoyment (and ours!). Please take a moment to donate, and click the link to see the videos.
